Now, even though things are not our strong spiritual gift doesn't mean that we won't do that at some point in time. For example, If I am somewhere and I get the opportunity to share my faith...I am not going to say "I would love to tell you about Jesus, but let me get you in contact with a missionary here that would be better at it." I am going share the gospel. I also don't have the gift of compassion (mercy.) This gift is one that transcends the normal level of christian care. Because I am not the best at intercessory prayer and support does not mean that I get a free pass on praying for people and being compassionate for them. I need to do so, but I am pretty positive that God is not going to call me to a full-time ministry position there.
All that to say, I have posted a spiritual gifts test. You need to click here or click on the icon on the side bar where you can download it. It originally came from www.acts17-11.com but I couldn't find it on their website. I did it years ago (along with many others) and it has been my fave so far. Its 140 questions that are extensive. After your done you add up your score and gives you your top five. Then you can read the description of your highest gifts and also read the scripture that lists the gift. I am 99.9% sure that your highest one you will agree with completely. For me, I was thankful for the test because it defined my passions. I also guarantee that you will be shocked at some of your strengths. Why? Because you might not have seen them materialize in your life so far. You, hopefully, have a lot of life to live with many different roles. Its proof that God knows the path He has you on and has built you for it. When you take the test don't over spiritualize yourself. Really be honest and be able to say "no, I don't like doing that" Remember it does not mean you wont, it just means it's not what you are best at.
If you are married, encourage you hubby to do it. This could help you understand how your spouse works. Its fun to do in bible study groups so you can better encourage each other. If you are boss (in ministry) it's also good to know your teams gifts. That way you can create the best work environment and the most productivity for the kingdom!
Here are some snippets : (note this is just a preview of the text) You can click here to download the actual test. Here is a little preview of what you are getting into!
